Port of Zeebrugge

Harbour Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Zeebrugge, Flanders, Belgium)

The port of Zeebrugge sees an annual throughput of approximately 800,000 passengers. Most of these patrons are either enjoying a luxury cruise or crossing by ferry to Hull. Due to its centralised location, the port is one of Belgium's most important cruise ports. In the past 25 years, the port has grown substantially and it continues to be one of Europe's fastest growing ports today.

Facilities at the port include several shops, a café and comfortable waiting areas.

Facilities for disabled passengers include wheelchair access throughout along with specialised assistance for those who require help with boarding. Passengers with special needs are advised to contact their ferry company ahead of time to make any special arrangements.

The port and surrounding area boasts a history dating back at least 2000 years, a span that has seen many cycles of affluence and decline. Presently, the port of Zeebrugge is experiencing a surge in economic stability, with roughly 10,000 vessels passing through each year carrying more than 32 million tons of cargo.
