There are two companies operating ferry services from Zeebrugge. P&O Ferries runs service to Hull and Dover while Superfast Ferries operates service to the port of Rosyth.

Superfast Ferries


Superfast Ferries offers transportation between Belgium and Scotland.


All of their vessels are relatively new, as the company only began service between in 2001.

In 2002, Superfast was nominated to handle the route between Scotland and Belgium. This is an overnight voyage with a total travel time of 17 hours, 30 minutes. Ships depart on a daily basis.

The vessel that handles this particular route is the Superfast X. It has a total of ten decks and can accommodate as many as 626 people. It can carry up to 100 private cars and as many trucks. Facilities on this ship include a children's playroom, conference rooms, shops, reception and drivers' lounges. The ferry also offers a pool and sauna, as well as a games room. Passengers can get a snack at the a la carte restaurant, or enjoy a full meal at the self-service restaurant. Alcoholic beverages are served in the bar lounge and at the open deck bar. Further recreational facilities include a casino, disco lounge and a swimming pool.

P&O Ferries


P&O Ferries handles all services to Hull. The voyage from Zeebrugge to Hull takes 11 hours and the service leaves once a day.

The primary ship on this route is called the Pride of Bruges. It can accommodate 1250 passengers and several hundred cars. Onboard facilities include shops, cafés, a bureau de change, and a children's area. There is also a casino and a cinema.
